Why the theme Haunted house makes a good book
An adventure that suits the child
Adventure is about daring, trying and succeeding. A story about a haunted house lets your child climb up into the driver's seat, take the lead and solve what the grown-ups cannot manage. The excitement is just right for the child's age, and the heroism is the child's own. These are stories that make children play on afterwards, and that they want to hear again the next evening.
Your child is the hero
You fill in the child's name, age and what they like, and upload a photo. The story about a haunted house is written for your very own child, and the fourteen pictures are drawn from the photo in the style you choose. Brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents or the pet can come along, up to five characters. If you would like to include something that has happened lately, a trip or a lost tooth, just write it and it is woven in.
From eBook to hardback book
The eBook is ready a few minutes after payment. Read it, change the text and ask for new pictures until you are happy. Then order it as an A4 hardback book, printed and sent to your door, or straight to the child as a gift. Do add the audiobook or the colouring pages. How the story could begin
It starts on a perfectly ordinary Tuesday. You are sitting at the breakfast table when there is a knock at the door, three short and one long. Outside there is nobody, but on the step lies an envelope with your name written in big letters. Inside there is a map, a key and a note: “We need your help. It is about a haunted house, and it is urgent.” You put the key in your pocket, put on your shoes and look at the map again. A cross is blinking faintly in the corner. The adventure has already begun.
